Felicity Cripps + Georgia Fields

Much-loved local artist Felicity Cripps and Melbourne-based singer-songwriter Georgia Fields team up for this double bill at The Bridge Hotel on Saturday 6 May.

Each their own unique voice in melodic, lyrics-driven pop, Felicity and Georgia will offer in turns the piercing songcraft and warm onstage storytelling for which they are so well-known.

Raw, rousing, and utterly bewitching, Felicity Cripps sweeps you up in a swell of golden chants and guttural rumblings. Performing as a duo with vocalist and saxophonist Alex Scott-Douglas, and with backing tracks from their new record (due mid-2023), the duo bring to life the full-band sound of these new songs, alongside stripped back, folk-inspired numbers. A force of strength and creative vision, Felicity harbours a crystalline other-worldliness that truly embodies the spirit of her songs.

Georgia Fields conjures a mesmerising spell of art-pop alchemy in her dynamic solo show. Shifting from electric guitar to mini-synth and textural live looping, the singer-songwriter “paints entire worlds with her tunes” (Frankie Magazine). Building vocal layer upon layer to create complex and ethereal arrangements, Georgia uses her voice like an instrument.  It's no wonder the Sydney Morning Herald declared, “Georgia Fields dreams in fantastic Technicolor”. This Castlemaine show is one stop on her Friendship Tour of May, which sees Georgia supporting friends Katie Noonan, Charlie Needs Braces and Felicity through Regional Victoria.

Join Georgia and Felicity for this dreamy evening of songs and stories at The Bridge Hotel on Saturday 6 May. Music from 9pm, free entry, and table bookings welcome.
