Moonee Valley Drifters

The Drifters mix ‘Crucial country, Cajun & roots music” with originals.

Members played from Byron Bay to Lubbock supporting FLACO JIMINEZ,  and Sara Mc Lachlan. They play ‘Honky Tonk swing’  cajun, and rockabilly in their ’ style calling it “hill & range music”

With 3 lead singers, harmonies, workshops- NASHVILLE TO BAKERSFIELD”  they cover a lot of musical territory and people listen and dance to them.  Their 6th CD OUT now called “Hill & range music” has had great reviews from Tamworth, Brisbane papers, the AGE, Australian, Rhythms Magazine and more.  

Thirty four years and still going strong and they are looking forward to playing again at the Bridge hotel in Castlemaine and catching up with friends there.
