Melbourne four-piece Monnone Alone take to the road this May/June to launch their new album entitled (perhaps with some seasonal confusion) Summer of the Mosquito. Landing plumb in the sweet spot where jangle and power-pop collide Summer of the Mosquito is the second album by former Lucksmith Mark Monnone, this time ‘round featuring his band which is made up of members of Architecture in Helsinki, Mid-State Orange and Aleks & the Ramps. Very special guests for this show are Truffle Pigs (AKA Steph and Al of Dick Diver) and legendary indie-poppers The Steinbecks.
