Thursday Night Music Club is back in August! Our free monthly gig at the pub brings together three handpicked songwriters for an intimate night of music and storytelling. Each artist will perform a short set and let us peer into their world - sharing the stories behind their songs, their inspirations, songcraft, anything they wish. 

Mika James steps out from behind the drumkit of Melbourne punk outfit The Vovos with a solo project that refuses to sit still — swerving from cinematic country to punk-infused blues. Her songs are intimate, world-building, and sharp with life experience, drawing comparisons to Weyes Blood, Sharon Van Etten, Laura Marling, and PJ Harvey. Wildness that can't be boxed.

Patrick Lionel is described as having the ability to both “break your heart and fill your heart in the matter of three minutes”, Patrick Lionel is a singer-songwriter who will leave you with tingling skin. He is an artist who performs and writes with a quiet beauty. With just an acoustic guitar and his voice, he is able to create nothing short of a sonic oasis. 

A.C Saunders is a storyteller, guitar slinger and a song singer. A.C writes from the heart, with melodies of an angel and lyrics pulled from the depths of her own darkness. In her short career, A.C has already supported indie legends Throwing Muses and toured nationally with Willie Watson and performed at Nannup Music Festival in 2026. If you like daydreaming, over thinking and crying to sad songs then you will love A.C Saunders.
