ARIA award-winning singer-songwriter Alexander Gow celebrates the release of 'Dizzy Spell,' the first album under the former 'Oh Mercy' songwriter's given name. 

Recorded on a 1970s 4-track tape machine in a formerly grand terrace in Melbourne, 'Dizzy Spell' is a collection of Gow's finest work to date.

'Dizzy Spell' is an album out of time, created by a student of the tradition of the singer-songwriter. Recorded in 2023 using 1970s technology, it is best consumed in its entirety. Featuring no obvious radio singles, it ignores the pursuit of instant gratification and instead asks for a modest investment from its audience. Those who invest are thoroughly rewarded with a collection of compelling and original Australian songs. One word repeated by all who listen to the record is "beautiful."
