Good Moon rocks the backyard genre with wistful yearning, heart beats and social dysphoria. With dual vocalists competing for the most heartworn, Peta eschews cymbals and thunders along gently in a completely self-taught style that echoes Moe Tucker. Eamon’s awkward pop riffs power lo-fi gentle sounds to alternately unsettle and sooth. Zeb cruises along on guitar or bass and occasionally hits the keys.
