Jordie Lane EP Launch

 Jordie Lane - EP Launch

With Special Guest, Brendan Welch

Jordie Lane’s return tours to Australia have been far and few between since relocating to Nashville, Tennessee in 2018. The celebrated Folk-Roots Singer-Songwriter will make Victorian fans happy, announcing Lane will play The Bridge Hotel in Castlemaine. Performing new songs from The Empty House Tapes Vol. 1 & 2, a raw stripped back solo set, bridging the gap between Ramblin' Spontaneous folk with a lean towards a lonesome Outlaw Country sound.
The collection of songs penned in an undisclosed Empty House in Nashville, Tennessee, sees Jordie back to his roots self engineering the record (as he did for his acclaimed Blood Thinner & Glassellland albums), for a devastatingly intimate and honest record and live show not to be missed by arguably one of our finest exports.
The Empty House Tapes Vol. 1 & 2 will be packaged together on CD (w/download), available only at the show.
Audiences will also be excited to again see one of Melbourne’s most mysterious songwriting legends, and one of Lane’s all time favourite artists, Brendan Welch, who came to fame with his 2009 album, The Gleaner, produced by Something for Kate’s Paul Dempsey.
