Join Drive South at The Bridge Hotel Castlemaine for a sunday afternoon of fun and drinks in the sun on the 27th of November. Drive South is a Melbourne based quintet formed by members hailing from Canberra and Melbourne. Dedicated to exploring the intersection of jazz and country, the band is influenced by jazz musicians such as Julian Lage and Bill Frisell as well as the country stylings of artists such as Joni Mitchell and the Everly Brothers. Always surprising and uplifting, their years of collective improvisation experience creates an immersive and welcoming experience.
