Son Quba is a traditional Cuban band based in central Victoria. Founded in 2016 under the tutelage of one of Cuba's national bands El Son Entero, Son Quba has evolved into an 8 piece Latin ensemble who performs traditional music from Cuba, as well as their own inspired compositions. In 2019, they had the opportunity to work with Cuban vocalist Michell Caminero Abreu. Son Quba has built their experience as performers with regular gigs at local festivals and live music venues solidifying themselves as an integral part of the Castlemaine community.
