Serenada are back at the Bridge with a bag full of fabulous songs from the Great American Songbook. Songs with inspired melodies and sophisticated lyrics written by some of the greatest songsmiths of the twentieth century. Their songs cover the era of the Radio City Music Hall in the Rockefeller Center (the most famous venue in NYC in the 40s and 50s), to the Brill building (where many of the most popular American songs were written) on Broadway next to Tin Pan Alley. The band consists of Gwynn James on clarinet and vocals, Howard Malkin on lead guitar, Jeremy Meaden on trumpet, and John Hannah on rhythm guitar and vocals. ‘...sensitive renderings of cleverly crafted songs’ Denver (Aust) Advocaat 30 Feb. 2018.
