Go Get Mum + Dumb Things

Go Get Mum are the Melbourne four-piece writing songs about getting drunk, the complexities of love, and even Adelaide. Inspired by jangly rockers like The Go-Betweens, Dick Diver and Darren Hanlon, they produce an endearing brand of slacker pop rock.

Their latest single "Moving Day" is about the process of letting go than the logistics of moving house. It’s a celebration of all those happenings from a place you’ve lived in for a while, stories too numerous and too long to tell in one song but summarised in lines like “And now there’s memories / A lack of memory / And plenty of wine stains”.

Produced and mixed by Anna Laverty and recorded at Audrey Studios, "Moving Day" comes from Go Get Mum's second EP, due out in early 2020.

Go Get Mum are delighted to have shared stages with The Beths, Rolling Blackout Coastal Fever, The Pretty Littles, IV League, Porpoise Spit and more.
