Cow bell, shakers, güiro and congas star alongside smoky vocals, tremolo guitar and dry humour in Melbourne’s Louis Valentine & The Golden Age, a band whose four-piece rhythm section seems to grow by the day. Drawing heavily on Motown, 60s rock ‘n’ roll and Brit Pop bands from the turn of the century, they play soul-pop tunes infused with latin rhythms, sung by a bloke who fancies himself as a "young Joe Cocker, without sideburns".

For the first time in 2019, Louis Valentine & The Golden Age are heading outside of Melbourne to play and to boogie in some of Victoria's awesome country towns. On Sunday, 27th October 2019, they'll be at The Bridge Hotel in Castlemaine. Join them for an afternoon of rhythm, revelry and rock 'n' roll.
