Fresh from their triumphant tour of Guildford, Slim Hope and the Lonesome Cowboys add their lonesome sounds to the country scene in central Victoria. Playing country cross-over hits from the 40s and 50s from Hank Williams to George Jones and Willie Nelson, they add occasional blues and sentimental crooning. With Christian Imfeld on bass, Tex Turkey on drums and SFX, Rex Watts on dobro and mandolin, Howard Malkin on lead guitar and John Hannah on rhythm guitar and vocals, they will entertain you with depressing songs of lost love interspersed with occasional up-beat attempts at hope for true love.
