THE BRIDGE HOTEL

Nestled in the grassy end of town alongside The Mill precinct and the Castlemaine Botanical Gardens, The Bridge Hotel is a family-friendly haven of quality eats, drinks and live music.

Head chef Ben Armstrong is well-known for taking pub classics to another level. He sources ingredients direct from local farmers including Yapunyah Chickens, Angel Organics Lamb, Gung Hoe Growers, The Food Garden, Tuki Trout and Windarring Urban Mushrooms. Check out the menu and specials board in the bar for all the latest delights.

On tap we have a range of local beer, cider and wine from many local brewers including Shedshaker Brewing, Love Shack, Bress Winery, Guildford Winery, Harcourt Valley Winery and Sutton Grange Winery.

Our lush beer garden is a popular spot throughout Summer while the two air conditioned dining rooms provide welcome reprieve. All spaces are available for hire or group bookings. Please contact Pat on 0422 830 470 or info@thebridgehotelcastlemaine.com

Venue Accessbility Information

The Bridge Hotel front bar and band room are located on ground level and are accessible for peoples in wheelchairs and other disability aids. Similarly, the beer garden is accessible via a side gate on Walker Street. This gate is unlocked and can be opened at any time by the public. The gate opens inwards into the beer garden. In busy periods there may be the obstruction of chairs and tables just inside the gate which we will move for you if required. If assistance is required please call in advance or speak with the bar manager on duty.
The male toilet is situated on the ground floor. The female toilet is up three steps in the hallway beyond the band room. Unfortunately there is currently no designated disabled toilet.

For your convenience, the nearest public disabled toilets are:
- The Mill Precinct, 4 min walk, open 24 hours
- Castlemaine Botanical Gardens, 5 min walk, open 24 hours
